Misguide to Gravity’s Rainbow & Thomas R. Pynchon, Jr.
The Misguide’s cover design is based on US military training manuals from WWII, when the novel takes place.
The Misguide to Gravity's Rainbow & Thomas R. Pynchon, Jr. is a satirical reader's guide that parodies the many companions that Thomas Pynchon’s Gravity’s Rainbow has inspired. It is at once a visual interpretation of the novel and an exploration of what it means to explain the unexplainable and the value of confusion in art.
I wrote and designed the book. I also sold copies on eBay, where they were purchased by Pynchon fans and scholars from around the world—a thrilling experience and a great honor! You can buy your own using the button below.
The Misguide was also exhibited at the New Wight Gallery in Los Angeles in January of 2024. See the showing below!
